Marina Progress update
Marina Progress is going to be fast and furious now with the piling contactors on site this week (starting 25/2/13). The new pontoons are manufactured and ready to be delivered. When the first piles are fitted to the marina basin, the pontoons will be installed consecutively and there will be visible progress over the next two weeks. Sisk are scheduled to begin the construction of the road and services next week opening access to the centre pier and allowing for the fitting of our bridge, offices, services and security. We are very confident that we are on track and assure you that we are doing everything possible to see this exciting journey through to completion and opening as scheduled.
An important point of information we would like to share is that since the breakwaters were built 4 years ago, little or no siltation has been recorded in the marina basin and harbour entrance. The minimum depths in the marina basin at mean low water springs range from 2.5m to 4.5m and boats will be berthed accordingly.
We are very happy with the interest and commitments we are receiving and for all the positive feedback. We are passionate and excited for the times ahead and would like to thank you for your support and involvement in what is going to be a successful, exclusive, and enjoyable marina.
We will send you a further update over the coming weeks. In the meantime if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact on 0862718161 or info@greystonesharbourmarina.ie.
